Alt Text as Poetry with Finnegan Shannon

Disabled multidisciplinary artist Finnegan Shannon will present a workshop on "Alt Text as Poetry," an artistic and practical intervention into accessibility. What is alt text? Alt text is an essential part of web accessibility. It is often disregarded or understood through the lens of compliance, as an unwelcome burden to be met with minimum effort. Their project seeks to answer: how can we instead approach alt text thoughtfully and creatively?
